If you are an NEU member with a problem at work, contact us early so there is time to consider what support you need.
1. Start with your workplace rep
Your NEU workplace rep is usually your first point of contact. They know your workplace and can help you consider the next steps, including whether other members share the concern.
Not sure who your rep is? Email Andrei with the name of your workplace.
2. Contact NEU Southampton
If you do not have a rep, your rep needs support or you need advice from a local officer, contact Bruno Duckworth-Russell or Vikki Franks.
Please provide:
- your name, workplace and NEU membership number;
- a personal email address and telephone number;
- a brief outline of the issue;
- the date of any meeting or deadline.
Keep your first message brief. Please do not attach confidential documents or include detailed medical information or extensive case records. An officer will explain how to share any further information securely.
3. Contact NEU AdviceLine
You can also contact the national NEU AdviceLine for advice about an employment issue. Its website gives the current contact options and opening hours.
